The beauty of nature in Hokkaido makes it a great place to film movies and television dramas. Furano served as the location for the television series Kita no Kuni kara (From the North), currently being broadcast throughout Asia. This course includes an overnight trip to Furano by either car or bus (depending on availability) through Asahikawa and along the popular Hanabito Kaido highway. Participants can appreciate the rolling hills, lavender fields and locations featured in the series as well as engage in simple outdoor activities.
