In this course, participants will visit Kushiro Marsh, Japan's largest wetland area, Shiretoko Peninsula, a candidate for world heritage status, mysterious Lake Mashu and other places of untouched natural beauty in eastern Hokkaido. Afterwards, you can savor urban culture in Sapporo at such locales as Moerenuma Park, designed by internationally recognized sculptor Isamu Noguchi and featuring gigantic art spaces.
