Factory Tour Plan

Local crafts have been passed down from generation to generation in Hokkaido since the pioneer days. Beer brewing was quickly established and much evidence of this pioneering period still remains. Sapporo Beer Museum, on the original site, features exhibits on the history of Sapporo Breweries from the time it was called the Kaitakushi Brewery. Enjoy jingisukan (griddle-cooked mutton) and draft beer at Sapporo Beer Garden. Other popular destinations for factory tours include dairy plants and a chocolate factory.
